Darren Beattie is an artist and art educator living and working in Suffolk. With an interest in the urban environment and decay, the artist photographs buildings and structures and combines these digitally (Digital Collages or composites) in a painterly fashion. He createsnostalgic narratives of what was and what is,both past and the present, whilst appreciating the inherent beauty in the abandoned, the forgotten and overlooked.
